Larentzakis: «We want to start anew»

Olympiacos will be hosting Partizan at the SEF tomorrow (19/10, 20.15 CET), aiming to his second Euroleague win.

“We have a lot back to back games, but we have already forgotten about the game in Milan”, Giannoulis Larentzakis pointed out and added: “Tomorrow we have a new game and we want to win it badly. We play at home and we want to make a new beginning”.  

Talking about the Serbian team, he said: “They are definitely dangerous. They have players that can easily score, like Punter and Leday. They are a full and tough team, but I believe that if we play our style of defense and find rhythm, we are going to be successful”.  

Finally, he did not omit sending a ‘message’ to our team’s fans: “Our fans have shown many times that they are supporting of us. They may not like how we perform right now, but it’s still very early. We are the ones to have raised the bar so high these past few years. I believe that in the long run and when we are all together, we are going to be playing according to our standards”.
