He sat in the Panionios' bench during the following two seasons (2010-2012), while in the summer of 2012 he succeeded Dusan Ivkovic in the Olympiacos' bench.
He made hirtory with the Piraeus team, leading Olympiacos to the Back2Back win of the Euroleague in 2013 at the London Final Four and a few months later winning the Intercontinental Cup.
He moved to Russia for Lokomotiv Kuban of Krasnodar in the 2015-16 season, with which he made the Euroleague Final Four. Next year, he took over coaching Barcelona (2016-2017), while he returned to Russia, but this time for Khimki, in the summer of 2017.
