Larentzakis: «With focus, energy and determination»

Olympiacos got the win in the first game of the playoffs, but no-one on the Piraeus' team is complacent. Everyone signs off on the opinion expressed by Giannoulis Larentzakis, that tomorrow's game (28/04, 20.30 CET) with Fenerbahce hides the same dangers as the first one.   

"It's a fact that every game is different. We are only thinking about the one tomorrow. It is true that the first game is really dangerous because you have to defend your home court and preserve the advantage, but the same thing goes for the second one. We'll have to play with the same focus, energy and determination in defense, to make the 2-0 in the series", is what the international guard said.

Asked if there are parts of the 'red & whites' game that can be improved, he replied: "We can certainly make some things better on both ends of the floor and we need not to be hasty. In general though, I think we played a good game. Of course, there is always room for improvement, and I believe that tomorrow we are going to be even better".   

About whether he thinks the Turkish team is going to incorporate new elements in its game, he said: "We have discussed some probable changes in our opponent's game, but we are going to stay faithful to our plan. Our goal is to find energy in our defense and through that find rhythm in the offense as well, where we have had quite good percentages". 

Finally, about the fans that will also pack the SEF tomorrow since the game is sold out, he made the following comment: "The fans have shown they support the team during the last two seasons and there are tons of positive energy and pulse in the arena. Tomorrow, I want our fans to exude even more energy!"
