Bartzokas: «We must be ready for a hard playoff series» (vid)

The coach of Olympiacos, Giorgos Bartzokas, congratulated everyone on the team for clinching no. 1 seed of the Euroleague's regular season.

"We finished in first place of the toughest Euroleague ever to take place, according to my opinion. I want to sincerely congratulate my players, the fans and the whole organization for winning this. I think we were very consistent during the Euroleague marathon and that's why we finished first. I don't want to say a lot about the game. Also, what we had to say about the regular season has already been said... Now, we must use the two days we have off to 'clear' our heads and prepare for a very hard playoff series. Congratulations to everyone and good luck to Baskonia". 

Baskonia's coach, Joan Penarroya, made the following statement: "Congratulation to Olympiacos for winning first place of the Euroleague's regular season. I also want to congratulate my team for its effort tonight. Tonight, we had to play a very good game against a compact team, and we did not do that. In the first quarter, Olympiacos only scored 19 points, but we had many problems as to play a good offensive game. We shot 17 more times than Olympiacos did, but with bad percentages. This is a bad moment for us".
