G. Larentzakis: "We want to celebrate first place with our fans"

Giannoulis Larentzakis and his teammates want to finish in first place with their fans by their side in tomorrow's (13/04, 20.00 CET) game of Olympiacos vs Baskonia at the SEF, for the last round of Euroleague's regular season. 

"Our motive in any game is to win" the international guard stressed. "Beyond that, we haven't yet clinched no. 1 seed. We want to win, and I believe we are ready. We know what this game means for us, we win, and we are first. So, there is definitely a motive there and we have to be focused on every game from now on, because each game counts".  

Analyzing Baskonia, Giannoulis Larentzakis said: "They are a team that plays with speed, with many possessions and with great offensive talent. We must be absolutely focused because all their players shoot well. We have to play with energy, strong defense and with pressure on the ball, together with good offensive decision making, so that get to control the tempo". 

And he concluded saying: "We are expecting a lot of people to come to the gym. We want them to come and support us. I understand it's the Good Thursday (i.e. in Greece), but those who can come, they should be there, supporting us and celebrating first place with us. It's going to be a huge achievement and we want them by our side".
