Fall: «A full gym gives us tremendous energy»

Bayern just like Barcelona! That’s how the ‘red & whites’ approach tomorrow’s (09/03, 20.00 CET) game against the German team at the SEF.

In the game against Armani and Kolossos Olympiacos was suffering from a lack of energy. On the contrary, against the ‘blaugrana’, Giorgos Bartzokas’ players had an abundance of it. Asked where he thinks the change was due, Moustapha Fall replied: “It had to do with the significance of the game, but also with our fans. It’s always easier when we play here, especially when the gym is full. That gives us tremendous energy”.  

Talking about what it is Olympiacos should be doing against Bayern to remain at the top of the ranking, he said: “We have to do the same thing we did in the game against Barcleona… Play with lots of energy and play good team defense”.

Finally, on whether the apparent qualification to the playoffs relieves him and his team mates from pressure, he said that… “I don’t think so, because to be honest, we haven’t been feeling pressure before either. What we are going to try and do is to finish at the best possible seeding”.
