Bartzokas: «We stayed focused on our plan»

The coach of Olympiacos, Giorgos Bartzokas, gave ample credit following the win at the OAKA.

“It was a very good night for us. Winning here is always important, it’s more than a simple win. We remained focused on our plan. We played as a team, dished 29 assists against 10 of Panathinaikos’. This shows how we tried to play. It is certain that our opponent has offensive talent, but we controlled the game tempo by moving the ball with patience in order to find open shots. Our percentages weren’t that high in the first half. We were winning by 17 and as soon as we found some open three-pointers we got to finish the game early on. Congratulations to my players.
