Bartzokas: «Many mistakes at the end»

Olympiacos lost in Tel-Aviv to Mavvabi and this was the first defeat on the road for the Greek Champions and Cup winners. The ‘red & whites’ coach, Giorgos Bartzokas, explained that the many mistakes in the last quarter were the ones that caused the defeat for his team.

The Greek coach stressed that: “when we were leading by ten, we had to do a better management of the situation. It’s unacceptable to lose a double-digit margin, we made a lot of mistakes and allowed them to return to the game. We were many times giving them the ball, we should have moved the ball better, we should have more clear thinking and I think that in the last quarter the momentum changed for Maccabi, they got control at that point and eventually got to win.
