Dorsey: «A win will get us back on track»

Olympiacos flew to Spain, to face off against Real Madrid tomorrow (02/02, 20.45 CET), for the 24th round of the Euroleague.

“I think that we hadn’t been in good shape lately”, the ‘reds’ guard, Tyler Dorsey pointed out. “We lost our last three Euroleague games, so I think that during this double game week it’s going to be really important to be positive and get a win that we’ll give energy to the team again. I think that this is the goal, to find the way to win and get back on track after all that has been going on”.

Asked if he can find any excuses about the team’s poor playing condition during recent games, he replied: “I don’t like looking for excuses. We have had to deal with COVID, however, the same goes for all teams, so at the end of the day, what’s important is to prepare ourselves better and work harder. It’s definitely a long season, teams get tired, but we need to overcome the state we are in and find our way. One game can get us back on track, so that’s we are going to try to do”.
