Domegge's gift to Olympiacos

The first part of the team's training camp concluded with the visit from the Mayor of Domegge to the team.

The small town with a population of only 2000 lived in the pace of the team for these last 9 days, and Lino Paolo Fedon wanted to personally thank the organization.

«It was a great honor for us to be able to host you here our own town. It's like we've spent some hours on the Mt. Olympus of basketball and we're now descending and returning to our own normal routines, remembering this experience with nostalgia. I'm sorry if there's anything we did wrong, but I promise you we did everything in our power to give you whatever you needed», said the mayor of Domegge.

Domegge, which is famous for the town's glasses and is where people learn the art of the optician, expressed it's gratitude of the team's choice to basically complete the start of their training camp there. The town's first citizen gave each person on the team an exclusively designed pair of glasses with the team's logo on them. On behalf of Olympiacos, the team's general manager gave the Mayor an official shirt of the team, autographed by all the players and two replicas from the trophies that the team won in Istanbul and London.
