«Happy to have joined the Champions»

Giorgi Shermadini has stated to be happy for joining the European and Greek Champion’s roster upon his arrival at Greece on Thursday morning (27/12).

The Georgian center stressed during his first statements as an Olympiacos player that “I’m happy to have joined Olympiacos. I have come to help and I’m very happy to be playing for the Champions of Europe. I was one of the first to be signed by Maccabi Tel Aviv, but then a lot of things changed, resulting for me to be left out of the team. It was an easy choice for me to accept the Olympiacos offer and I’m now ready to help my new team achieve their goals. Many things have changed and it’s almost three years now since I’ve been with Panathinaikos. I have played for Panathinaikos and now I’m playing for Olympiacos. A lot of things have changed for me in the way I play”.
