Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos executives of the Year

Honors and awards keep coming for the European and Greek Champion Olympiacos.

Following the election of Vassilis Spanoulis as the HEBA MVP, Dusan Ivkovic’ election as the best coach, Kostas Pananikolaou election as best young player, Giorgos Printezis election as most improved player and all of the three before mentioned players among the best starting five of the League, after Dusan Ivkovic’ election as coach of the Year by the Euroleague, one more award has been presented. This time, it was addressed to the leaders of the team, Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos.

The owners of Olympiacos BC were voted as Euroleague executives of the year, and this award is even more priceless since deriving from the clubs’ votes.

The official tournament site announced the election of the Angelopoulos brothers as the executives of the year with a text full of praise for them individually and the effort they have put in. The epilogue is a characteristic one: “By maintaining the faith in the team, in professionalism and in the fans, Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos showed during this past season, that dedication, loyalty and devotion from the top can lead to amazing achievements, just like the ones by Olympiacos”.
