Bartzokas: «We have very serious players»

Despite the many absentees, Olympiacos easily got the road win in Pilaia.

"Congratulations to our team, for being really serious", the 'red & whites' coach, Giorgos Bartzokas said and continued as follows: "With the exception of 2-3 players, when our lead was up to 40 points, they thought we could stop playing the way we must be playing. But I can't be complaining. We were serious, had 29 assists, executed the best we could in our offense and defense. We have very focused players and we are very happy for it. I wish to PAOK and their coach all the best for the Basket League and the Fiba Europe Cup".

Asked about the injured players who did not travel to Thessaloniki, and for Sasha Vezenkov, who did not play in the second half, he replied: "Fournier was experiencing a tight feeling in the lower back following a jump at the end of the game against Maccabi and is having treatments. If nothing goes wrong, he should be joining practice sessions on Tuesday. Mitrou-Long and foot tendonitis, he could have played today, but we chose to rest him. Dorsey has hip tendonitis. He's definitely not playing on Thursday; we hope he comes back next week. Milutinov did not play so that the other two players could get minutes. Vezenkov injured his big toe just before the end of the 2nd quarter. He's going to have an MRI. We hope it's not something serious. That was the reason he did not play in the second half".
