Bartzokas: «We put team spirit to good use»

Giorgos Bartzokas said the win over AEK to be the result of team game. 

"Congratulations to our team. We are coming from an especially heavy schedule, in terms of the quality of the opponents we played against. The game against AEK here at Liosia (i.e. AEK's home court) is certainly something that could we have avoided at this point, we certainly would have. Because it's an arena especially unwelcoming to us and AEK has great quality this season, good scoring guards. They have Golden who is a forward-center that passes the ball really well, while Kuzminskas' quality is always outstaning. Coach Sakota, we all know about his experience and knowledge of the game. They are a tough team to play. To win and by almost a 20 point margin, we put our team spirit to good use. We had 20 assists and despite committing 6 or 7 turnovers in the second quarter and went to hasty offensive plays, we had 14 assists and 3 turnovers in the second half, despite the pressure from AEK. So, it was hard to lose the game. I wish all the best for AEK and coach Sakota. We continue with our program, that is always very demanding".
