Olympiacos supports the Hellenic Senologic Society

Three distinguished guests, members of the Hellenic Senologic Society that procures scientific and social work, were Saturday morning (14/04) at the SEF.

The President and Senologic professor Ms. Lydia Ioannidou Mouzaka, the Secretary General and Doctor of Gynecology - Senologic , Ms. Angeliki Athanasiou and the Research Biologist, Ms. Maria Nikolakopoulou, were present during the morning Saturday practice (14/04) and received from the hands of Vassilis Spanoulis, Giorgos Printezis and Giannis Sfairopoulos a ball and a jersey singed by all of our athletes. The objects shall be auctioned by the Hellenic Senologic Society and the revenue will be used to benefit its goals.  

The President Ms. Lydia Mouzaka, wished to express her gratitude to the 'reds' family through Olympiacosbc.gr … "I sincerely thank Mr. Giorgos Angelopoulos for his immediate support towards our initiative. I also wish to thank the athletes and technical staff of Olympiacos for supporting our work".

Who is HSS...

The Hellenic Senologic Society (HSS) is a non profit Scientific Club established in 1979, under the direction of the then President of the International Senologic Society - SIS, of the late Professor Charles Marie Gros, as an affiliate until present. In its 39 years of operations, it deals with:

• continuous education of breast doctors
• providing feedback to the non-specialist physicians and nursing staff on the modern achievements of senologics
• educating and incentivizing the public on the battle against breast cancer
• with the operation of the Center for the Psychosocial Support of women with breast cancer "Ellie Lampeti", that has been offering its services for 15 years free of charge
• with the operation of the Greek Senologic School for 10 years, to cover educational gaps.
