ONE TEAM returns to action (Pics)

Olympiacos BC continues participating the One Team Euroleague program for the 7th consecutive season with a new two years collaboration, this time with the CENTER FOR THE SPECIAL EDUCATION FOR SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS “Horizons”.

The program has already began with a first official training at school grounds, where the new teams comprises of kids (and adults) aged 14 and above and that suffer from Down syndrome, autism and are mentally challenged.  

The program aims through play like exercises and practice to help the participants get more easily adapted to societal norms, gain confidence in their own environment and feel equal.  

This first visit allowed us to meet the participants and spot their needs through a series of exercises while they had the chance to get a feel of the goals and the meaning of belonging to a group of the likes of “ONE TEAM”
