The wish for titles and Printezis the … teacher! (video)
Sasa Vezenkov arrived to Athens Wednesday evening (15/08) and wished that he wins the most titles possible wearing the red jersey.
He also appeared ready to accept Giorgos Printezis as his teacher, as well as the rest of his team mates.
“I’m very happy for the new beginning, I came to familiar territory. The only thing pending is for the work to begin. I’m very well both physically and mentally and I’m looking forward to start working” he said and continued: “I wish that we win as many titles as possible. This is going to happen through preparation and hard work. I wish that we remain healthy and we have a great season”.
Asked on whether it was easy for him to say “yes” to the Piraeus team offer, he stressed: “When a club of the Olympiacos’ magnitude and coach like David Blatt show you that they really want you, everything else is much easier”.
Finally, when pointed out that he will be playing next to Giorgos Printezis, he commented: “He’s one of the best power forwards in Europe. I have a lot to learn from him and not just Printezis but everyone on the team, Vassilis Spanoulis, Kostas Papanikolaou and the rest. I will be learning new things every day”.
